Maeson Maine LLC (“Maeson Maine,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit wreath-bar.com, shop with us online, book an experience, or sign up for our emails, and how we use and protect it. It also covers Wreath Bar, which is operated by Maeson Maine LLC.

We only collect what we need to run our shop, ship your orders, and stay in touch if you’ve asked us to. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, book a Wreath Bar event, contact us, or join our mailing list, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, gift recipient names and addresses, gift messages, and anything you choose to include in a message to us.

Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processors: Squarespace Payments for shop orders and Stripe for Wreath Bar bookings. We do not store your full card number on our systems.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our site, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and how you interact with the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

Order history. We keep a record of what you’ve purchased, when, and where it shipped.

How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Process, ship, and deliver your orders, including gifts sent to someone else

  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and receipts

  • Manage Wreath Bar bookings and private events

  • Answer your questions and provide customer service

  • Send marketing emails if you’ve opted in

  • Understand how people use our site so we can improve it

  • Prevent fraud and keep our site secure

  • Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers that help us operate, such as our ecommerce platform Squarespace, our online booking system (Acuity Scheduling), payment processors (Squarespace Payments and Stripe), shipping carrier (USPS), email marketing provider (Squarespace Email Campaigns), and website hosting and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

  • Gift recipients. If you send a gift, the recipient’s name and address go to our shipping carrier, and your gift message is included with the package.

  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.

  • Business changes. If Maeson Maine is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep items in your cart, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site (like your cart) may not work without them.

Email marketing

If you sign up for our emails, we’ll send you news, new products, and holiday updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We’ll still send transactional messages about your orders.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide service, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards, and we rely on established platforms and payment processors that use encryption to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing. Email us at the address below and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws, and we will honor those requests as required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top.
